Brenda Scott, licensed acupuncturist
National Certificatin Commission of Oriental Medicie

Brenda has a Master’s of Science in Acupuncture from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado.  Southwest Acupuncture College was founded in 1980 and is known for their teachers being leaders in the profession of Oriental Medicine.  It's rigorous 4 year program of study requires all the pre-med science courses as a prerequisite to entry into the program.  Brenda’s studies included specialties in  Japanese and Cosmetic Acupuncture as well as Western herbs.

Brenda is Nationally Board Certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, (NCCAOM), and Licensed by both the Massachusetts and New Hampshire Boards of Registration in Medicine.  Brenda is also a credentialed practitioner at Fenway Health in Boston.

She practices Chinese, Japanese and Korean styles of Acupuncture and provides consulting with Western Herbal Medicine, Bach Flower Remedies, Aromatherapy and Nutritional and Lifestyle Counseling.

She trained in Facial Acupuncture with Mary Elizabeh Wakefield and Shellie Goldstein.  She is a Level III Master Reiki practitioner.  She is a certified QiGong teacher through the Institute of Integral QiGong & Tai Chi and the Robert Peng Master Key Series.  She has been a practitioner of QiGong for over 15 years.

Brenda’s fascination with Oriental Medicine started with her recovery from a near fatal auto accident.   She is grateful to the doctors and nurses in the ICU who saved her life.   And she is grateful for discovering acupuncture, which helped her return to living fully and free of pain.

Now she helps her patients with the care and attention she gives to their treatment plan; the support and education she provides in empowering them to be healthy; and the knowing and experience she brings to treating the whole person.
